Reqote facilitates industrial procurement transactions between buyers and suppliers. We do not process payments - we connect parties and generate purchase orders.

Supplier bank information is used exclusively for:

  1. Inclusion on generated purchase orders
  2. Facilitating direct payments between parties

Important Disclosure

By providing your bank details, you acknowledge this information will appear on purchase orders which become part of the transaction record. We do not:

  • Process or facilitate payments
  • Verify account validity
  • Assume liability for payment transactions

Public Record Nature

Purchase orders containing bank details are considered commercial documents that may be:

  • Shared between transacting parties
  • Used for accounting purposes
  • Disclosed as required by law

4. Data Protection

We secure your information during platform use:

Before Agreement

  • Bank details stored encrypted
  • Only visible to account administrators
  • Protected by role-based access

After Agreement

  • Bank details included on PO
  • PO emailed to both parties
  • Document becomes part of transaction record

Note: Once a PO is generated, we cannot recall or modify the document. Suppliers should ensure bank details are accurate before finalizing agreements.

Reqote, located in Los Angeles, USA, is the Data Controller responsible for your information.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data based on contractual necessity. To facilitate a transaction (such as creating a quote request or generating a PO), we must process the information you provide to fulfill our service agreement with you.

6. Data Retention & Cookies

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Transactional records, including purchase orders and negotiation history, are retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with financial and legal obligations, even after an account is deleted.

Use of Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and ensure the functionality of our platform. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
